On October 23rd, at the Foundation’s Annual Dinner, our beloved Manu Samtani and his wife had the privilege of hearing powerful stories from students and community members whose lives have been impacted through education. True to who he is, Manu never intended for this moment to be shared publicly. His focus has always been on the impact, not the attention. Still, some acts of generosity deserve to be recognized.
During the evening, Maharaja’s donated two stunning watches to the live auction. Moved by the stories shared, Manu also chose in the moment to make a $10,000 contribution to the Gulf Coast Guarantee, a program that provides tuition assistance to students pursuing higher education at Gulf Coast State College.
Manu and his son, Mohit, joined the Foundation for a check presentation celebrating this gift. It was a quiet moment of gratitude and reflection, one that perfectly reflected the Samtani family’s values and their long-standing commitment to supporting education and growth along the Gulf Coast.
